Allah says in the Quran:
قُلۡ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ تُحِبُّوۡنَ اللّٰہَ فَاتَّبِعُوۡنِیۡ یُحۡبِبۡکُمُ اللّٰہُ وَ یَغۡفِرۡ لَکُمۡ ذُنُوۡبَکُمۡ ؕ وَ اللّٰہُ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِیۡمٌ
(Al-e-Imran)Say, [O Muhammad], “If you should love Allah , then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.”
And the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
أَلَا إِنِّي أُوتِيتُ الْكِتَابَ وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَه
“Beware! I have been given the Quran and something like it (Hadith)”
